Simple transfer text from one language to another
Written by pmonstad the 14 Feb 12 at 21:25. Global category: Question types. New
When working with several languages (editing, building surveys) there should be an option to auto fill previous language into the selected language tab. I start by filling out language tab 1. When completed I move to language 2 tab. All fields are empty. A function to auto fill with strings from language 1 tab (the previous one) is most wanted.

When translating many text fields it is waste of time switching between the different tabs. In Norwegian (bokmål and nynorsk) There are only small differences as well and much of the strings are the same when translating.

Solution #1: copy text strings
Written by pmonstad the 14 Feb 12 at 21:25.
Function to copy strings from previous language tab.

In every language tab except the first one (main language) there should be an icon between Code and Subquestion to pick up the original text string from the main language. A bonus is an icon to run this string into Google translate and populate the translated string.

sort answer options
Written by pmonstad the 14 Feb 12 at 21:19. Global category: Question types. New
It\\\'s possible to move around answers when editing answer options. There is no way to sort ascending/descending (only set this as an option when showing answer options when the survey is run). Having the possibility top sort the answer options when editing large lists of options are most wanted.

Group condition rules
Written by pmonstad the 10 Oct 09 at 19:00. Global category: Logic & Conditions. Implemented
Making conditions in LS are very time consuming.

The existing condition rules are only useful when asking a very few additional questions, as the condition has to be entered as a rule to each question. There is no way for example to easily make whole question groups conditional.

Selected solution (#2): Add ability to apply conditions to entire group
Written by blfesper the 5 Mar 10 at 21:51.
Rather than having to go through the painful process of adding multiple conditions to each question of a long survey, add the ability to apply conditions to groups.

The infrastructure for the groups is already there...
- Hide/show all of the questions of a particular group based on conditions.

custom label text for comment fields
Written by pmonstad the 5 Sep 11 at 12:26. Global category: Question types. New
I'd like to have the possibility to alter the standard label text on the comment fields in question types like List with comment. In advanced settings it should be possible to enter a custom label text for the comment field.

auto generate IDs
Written by pmonstad the 5 Apr 11 at 12:20. Related project: 1.x all. New
I can't see why the user has to enter ID manually when creating question groups or questions. There should be an option letting LS auto generate IDs which the user can override if needed.

it should be possible to turn on/off the note about privacy
Written by pmonstad the 3 Sep 10 at 23:45. Related project: 1.x all. New
The privacy note is too eye catching and should either have the possibility to be turned on/off or the possibility to change style from css.

There is as far as I can see, no css style for the privacy note making it hard to put to text in smaller size.

Solution #2: Turn off anonymous submissions
Written by dvickers79 the 1 Oct 10 at 20:39.
The only way that I've found to remove it is to turn off anonymous submissions, as this is what the privacy message is referring to...anonymity.
